The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center partnered with LRP Recycling to complete a large scale mattress recycling project involving 824 full mattress sets. As part of a major room renovation initiative, the property chose responsible recycling solutions that support both guest experience and environmental stewardship.
Through LRP Recycling’s commercial mattress recycling program, valuable materials including steel, foam, wood, and fabric were recovered and diverted from landfills. This project demonstrates how large hospitality properties can make a significant environmental impact through sustainable renovation practices.
